About the Role
We're seeking an AI Platform Architect to design and build the infrastructure that powers our AI products. Based in our Palo Alto headquarters, you'll lead the technical vision for our platform, ensuring it can scale to meet the demands of next-generation AI systems. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape the technical foundation of the company.
What You'll Do
- Define the technical architecture and roadmap for our AI platform
- Design scalable, reliable infrastructure for training and serving AI models
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve platform performance and reliability
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance our capabilities
- Establish best practices for security, compliance, and data governance
- Partner with product and research teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Build and mentor a world-class platform engineering team
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in platform/infrastructure roles
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience designing systems for ML workloads at scale
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices
- Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and driving architectural decisions
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience at companies known for technical excellence (FAANG, top startups)
- Hands-on experience with GPU clusters and high-performance computing
- Knowledge of ML frameworks and model serving infrastructure
- Experience with real-time inference systems at scale
- Background in building developer platforms or internal tools
